Description

The Zayna Accent Chair is a strikingly confident piece of contemporary furniture design — a bold, sculptural statement that commands attention in any living space while delivering an unexpectedly plush and enveloping sit. Its most distinctive feature is the dramatically curved barrel-style back and arm structure, which wraps around the sitter in a continuous sweeping arc, creating an intimate, cocoon-like seating experience that is both visually arresting and supremely comfortable. The design masterfully plays with two contrasting textures: the exterior of the wraparound arm-back rail and the outer side panels are upholstered in a deep, rich navy velvet with a smooth, light-catching finish, while the inner seat surface and interior back are covered in a nubbly, tactile steel-blue boucle fabric that adds warmth, depth, and contemporary texture. This dual-fabric approach creates a beautiful tonal interplay between the two blues — moody and sophisticated on the outside, soft and inviting within. The entire chair is elevated on a sleek gunmetal powder-coated steel sled base with clean geometric lines, adding an industrial-modern grounding that perfectly offsets the organic curves of the upholstery above. Whether placed as a reading chair, a conversational anchor, or a solo focal point in a bedroom or lounge, the Zayna brings gallery-level design sensibility to everyday living. An extraordinary floor sample value for a chair of this caliber.
